Welcome to the MIDI section of my site. It might seem a little bit
confusing at first. But the format is really pretty simple once
you work with it a little.
We accumulated the MIDIs over time. From our members who share
their files as they sequence them, and collected them over time.
April, 2025 will be our 21st birthday! There are 42,168 files now!
We also have a few members who are Pro sequencers, and produce
many MIDIs and KARs daily! These special members have dedicated
sections on the site with only their MIDIs. Some of our members
prefer one sequencer over another, at least to some degree. And
they will search that member's section first when looking for a
particular MIDI.
Therefore, you could find a MIDI of a song in more than one place
on the site! If more than one sequencer wanted to make a MIDI of the
song, his will be in his section.
You might be looking for a specific genre sometimes. Maybe you would
like to find some Blues MIDIs or Country MIDIs. Holiday MIDIs. These
will be listed under the appropriate links. Some were made by our
special sequencers. Some not. But they are listed together in one
place for convenience. IE: Holiday related MIDIs are all under Holidays,
and then listed under each holiday.
You can also use the search tool located all throughout the site. It
searches all 224 pages of the site. Just like searching on the Net,
you need to be creative when using search phrases. All sequencers name
their files as they choose. There is no one format.
One more thing. MidKar members are permitted to request MIDIs! If
they can't find one, or only find them on pay for sites, they are welcome
to post a request to the group. If a member has one, they will post
it to you. If no one has one, we will usually make one for you . . .
for free!
If you consider being able to request a MIDI a value added feature, along
with the fact that we post new MIDIs to the group DAILY, you might think
about joining our MIDI Support Group, The MidKar Group.
I do add MIDIs to the site! But only 2 or 3 times a year. So you could
be missing out on a lot of great MIDIs by not being a member!
211 KARs were addd to the site Feb 27, 2025! 503 were added 3/21/25!
And many of the MIDIs posted daily are NEW songs STILL ON THE CHARTS! Or
were recently on the charts. These MIDIs are not found ANYWHERE ELSE on
the net! Only in our group!
